A French Restauration period fir wood farm dining room table from the early 19th century, with planked top, serpentine accents, curving legs and distressed patina. Created in France during the Restauration period which saw a return of the Bourbon monarchy after the fall of the Napoleonic empire, our early 19th century farm table features a planked top with wonderful grain and typical knots showcasing serpentine lines on all of its four sides. The table is raised on a rectangular base made of four curving legs with pegg construction, boasting a nicely weathered patina. The ensemble results in a farm table with great character and soft colors. With its nice proportions, distressed patina and handsome top, this French Restauration period fir wood farm table circa 1820 will make for a lovely addition to any home, placed in a dining room or breakfast area, particularly in a country home or mountain cabin!
