Created in Sweden during the early years of the 20th century, this painted console table features a rectangular marbleized top sitting above three drawers adorned with reeded diamond motifs and fitted with brass ring pulls. These drawers showcase a dovetail construction revealing their age. The table is raised on four slightly tapering legs accented with diamond motifs on the knees. It is painted in a soft color with nice distressing, typical of the Swedish taste for light palettes aiming at brightening the rooms during the dark winters of Scandinavia.
