French Louis XVI Style Painted Buffet with Doors, Drawers and Carved Pilasters

A French Louis XVI style painted wood buffet from the 20th century, with two doors, drawers, carved pilasters and fluted motifs. Created in France during the 20th century, this painted buffet showcases the stylistic characteristics of the Louis XVI era. The piece features a rectangular top with canted corners in the front, sitting above a perfectly organized façade. Two doors, adorned with carved panels, are visually separated from one another through a fluted and reeded pilaster in the center, topped with a small drawer. This motif is echoed on the side posts. The doors open to reveal inner shelves and hidden drawers offering convenient storage opportunities. The sides present carved panels and the back is, of course, unfinished. The ensemble, painted in a soft color complimenting the Classical lines beautifully, is resting on a conforming plinth. With its clean lines and elegant carved décor, this French Louis XVI style painted buffet from the 20th century will make for a statement in any living room or dining room.
