French 19th Century Brass and Glass Lanterns with Hexagonal Bodies and Volutes

Two French brass lanterns from the 19th century, with hexagonal bodies and glass panels, priced and sold individually. Born in France during the politically dynamic 19th century, each of these lanterns captures our attention with its elegant Silhouette, made of S-scroll volutes surmounting an hexagonal body. Protected by glass panels accented with petite beads and topped with Rococo style cartouches, three lights, resting on simple shaped bobèches, are supported by a central shaft. With their golden hue and curving silhouettes, these French 19th century brass lanterns will bring a touch of refinement to any home. They are priced $3,950 each and are wired for the US.
