A French Louis XV style walnut canapé à oreilles from the late 19th century, with double camelback, cabriole legs and new upholstery. Created in France during the later years of the 19th century, this two-seat canapé features a slightly slanted back with scrolling upper rail, connected to two upholstered arms flanking the rectangular seat presenting a custom cushion. The seat (which is 22.5"D), back and arms have been recently reupholstered with a neutral colored double welt fabric. The ensemble is raised on six carved cabriole legs. With its graceful Louis XV lines and walnut patina, this late 19th century French canapé will bring a touch of elegance to any living room or bedroom.
