This is a rather spectacular c.1920's Italian dining table with bold ebonised finish. The size and design of this piece make it a showstopper in any room. The curved carved legs with paw feet are very impressive as is the iron bar support with ornate detail. The ebonised finish isn't original but it isn't new either and is worn away nicely on the legs in parts. The table is very well made with a few later additions to the base attach the top more securely to the base.
