    Four Art Deco chairs

Set consisting of four Art Deco chairs dating back to the '20s – '30s, made of solid wood veneered in flamed walnut with bois de rose and boxwood fillets. The structure is solid and well-proportioned, characterized by a precise workmanship that enhances the natural grain of the wood.
The backrest has a slender shape, with a central board shaped like an Ace of Spades, which acts as a decorative and structural element. This element is veneered with flamed walnut and finished along the profiles with bois de rose threads, edged with a very thin boxwood thread. The lateral curvature of the backrest uprights gently accompanies the ergonomic line of the chair, giving comfort and at the same time a strong visual impact.
The seat is removable, consisting of a wooden board with padding and upholstery in ivory and beige vertical striped fabric, consistent with the style of the time and in a good state of preservation (there are some small stains). The front legs, shaped like an inverted sabre, and the rear legs, slightly inclined, give momentum to the composition and ensure structural stability.
Overall, it is a whole that fully reflects the Art Deco aesthetic: clear lines, sober elegance, attention to detail and calibrated use of precious wood essences.
