A French Louis XVI style walnut bouillotte table from the 19th century with white marble top, brass accents, single drawer and fluted legs. This elegant walnut bouillotte table features a circular white veined marble top surrounded by a delicately brass border. An elegant apron is adorned with a brass trim only interrupted by fluted motifs, and presents a single drawer. This drawer is fitted with a petite brass pull and showcases a dovetail construction. The term bouillotte comes from the card game of the same name (a version of the poker) which became extremely popular in France during the late 18th century. The table is raised on four fluted tapering legs resting on petite brass feet.
