A French Louis XV period painted wood buffet from the mid-18th century, with two drawers over two doors and scalloped skirt. This buffet features a rectangular, slightly raised top, sitting above two drawers. Each drawer is adorned with a subtly incised cartouche, framing the Rococo style hardware. A set of double doors opens to reveal two inner shelves, offering a convenient storage area. Each door is decorated with a recessed panel, accented with a curvy molding. The buffet is raised on four feet, scrolled in the front and straight in the back, connected to one another through a delicate skirt scalloped on three sides. The buffet is painted in a soft grey color that compliments the lines beautifully.
