Founded nearly 40 years ago by Jim and Jacqueline Adams, Jacqueline Adams Antiques specializes in fine European antiques from the 17th to 19th centuries. Originally based in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, it now resides in the Galleries of Peachtree Hills in Atlanta, Georgia. The 8,000 square-foot showroom features a wide array of antique furniture and decor.
Jacqueline Adams Antiques was established with a passion for preserving the beauty and craftsmanship of historical pieces. Over the years, it has become a trusted name in the antiques industry, known for its commitment to quality, authenticity, and customer satisfaction.
Our Founders
Co-founder of Jacqueline Adams Antiques, Jim Adams has a deep-rooted passion for European antiques and interior design. With years of experience in the industry, Jim has developed an exceptional eye for quality and authenticity. His own house is a testament to his excellent eye for combining and mixing different European styles with exquisite execution. His expertise has been instrumental in building the business’s reputation for excellence. Jim’s commitment to sourcing unique and high-quality pieces ensures that each item in the showroom reflects the finest craftsmanship and historical significance.
Garrett Adams brings a modern perspective to the family business, combining his passion for antiques and interior design. From a very young age, Garrett has been around antiques and has learned from his father Jim the art behind the craftsmanship and significance of antiques. Garrett is great with clients, providing detailed explanations and walking them through all aspects of the items. His extensive knowledge allows him to share the rich history and significance of each piece. His friendly and welcoming attitude is a staple of Jacqueline Adams Antiques, making every client feel valued and informed.
Vicki Adams Beam, Jim’s daughter, brought her artistic sensibility and flair for interior design, playing a crucial role in curating the store’s exquisite collection. Her ability to envision how each piece can transform a space has made Jacqueline Adams Antiques a go-to destination for interior designers and collectors alike. Vicki’s talent for creating harmonious and inspiring environments ensured that every item in the store was showcased to its full potential. Although she has retired to France, her contributions to JAA have been invaluable and continue to influence the store’s aesthetic and ethos.
