A French Louis XV style 19th century wooden bedside table with three-quarter gallery, open shelf and cabriole legs. This French Louis XV style 'table de chevet' features a rectangular top surrounded by a three-quarter gallery, sitting above an open shelf offering a convenient storage area. The scalloping present on the gallery is perfectly echoed on the upper section of the shelf as well as the apron, thus creating a visual unity. The table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs, reminding us of the taste for curvy lines of the Louis XV period.
