A remarkable Swedish fall-front secretary desk in pine, retaining its original painted surface in warm, time-worn amber tones. The drop front opens to reveal a beautifully preserved interior fitted with an array of small drawers in soft sage green, flanking a central compartment adorned with a striking marbled flame-stitch panel in tones of blue and green — a distinctive example of regional Swedish decorative painting.
The lower section features two paneled cabinet doors with original hardware, and the piece rests on turned bun feet. The reverse bears a period freight label reading "Aktgods till Ljusdal fr.
