Born in the Netherlands during the first half of the 19th century, this charming jardinière features a circular tapering body, accented with turned, spindle-shaped supports on the circumference. Presenting a brass liner with large handle, the jardinière is raised on a small pedestal with ball feet. With its elegant lines and dark patina, this Dutch jardinière circa 1840 will be a lovely decorative addition, placed anywhere in a home, from a living room to a desk top.
