An eighteenth-century French buffet deux corps in solid blond oak, likely from Northern France, in the Régence manner. The upper cabinet is surmounted by an arched molded cornice and opens to a painted interior with adjustable shelving; the lower section presents two paneled doors enclosing a single shelf. Both sections are articulated with deeply molded raised panels — a hallmark of French provincial joinery of the period. The natural oak exterior has developed a warm honey patina that highlights the quality of the timber and the precision of the hand-cut joinery. Original iron locks and hardware remain intact throughout. 64.5"W × 21.25"D × 103.9"H.
