Nineteenth-century Alpine wardrobe from the Tyrolean tradition, decorated in rich timeworn blue with contrasting oxidized white panels. The two doors each present a pair of hand-painted cartouches depicting overflowing urns of flowers, berries, and stylized birds — a characteristic expression of Alpine folk art. The painted sides carry simple geometric motifs in warm earthy tones. Raised on shaped bracket feet and surmounted by a bold molded cornice. Constructed in two vertical sections for ease of transport and installation. All original hardware throughout, including locks, key, hinges, and wooden knobs. Interior retains original shelves and compartments. Measures 55¼ inches wide, 21¼ inches deep, 71½ inches tall.
