An antique Swedish bureau in antique white. This piece of furniture consists of two stacked sections. The upper section is a bureau with a flap closure. A decorative brass trim runs around the edge of the lid and the large drawers, giving the piece an elegant look. The desk's lid has an old, original brass lock and is supported by two brass brackets. The interior is grey with a subtle touch of blue. The interior contains 14 drawers of various sizes (brass knobs) and three compartments (one lockable). Below the bureau is a section of furniture resembling a classic chest of drawers with three large drawers. The drawers have original locks, but only one works. All drawers have brass handles. The legs are beautifully contoured. The legs have been reinforced with newer wood on the bottom and back. The furniture comes from Stockholm and is made of pine wood. 2 keys included.
