Born in France during the reign of "The Beloved", king Louis XV, this elegant fountain features a two-part pewter lavabo, mounted on a walnut hand-carved base. Adorned with a shell motif on the crest flanked with delicate volutes on the side, the fountain showcases stylized dolphins, the ensemble being raised on four slender cabriole legs typical of the Louis XV period.
