French 19th Century Double-sided Double-leaf Walnut Communication Door
A nineteenth-century French communication door of double-leaf, double-sided construction in blond walnut, offered complete with its original frame. Each face is finished with equal care — a mark of quality construction — allowing the door to present with equal refinement from either adjoining room.
The blond walnut, lighter in tone than the darker variants more commonly encountered, gives this example a particularly luminous character well suited to light-filled period or contemporary interiors. Opening direction: right-hand push. Door leaves measure approximately 86.6 inches high by 46.1 inches wide (220 cm by 117 cm); dimensions indicated are those of the frame. A complete and fully functional architectural element, ready for installation.
