Italian 19th Century Painted Wardrobe with Arched Tympanum, Botanical Motif and Fluted Pilasters
An Italian nineteenth-century wardrobe painted in soft ivory and dove gray, displaying Neoclassical influence in both form and ornament. The arched tympanum is centered with a carved botanical motif, while the facade is articulated by fluted pilasters flanking paneled double doors that open to a spacious interior. A wide lower drawer provides additional below-door storage. Raised on turned feet. The muted painted palette and classical proportions make this a refined and versatile piece. Original painted surfaces retain good tonal depth and aged patina throughout. Suited to a bedroom, dressing room, or formal entrance hall. Measures 49¾ inches wide, 20 inches deep, 86¼ inches tall.
