Elegant circular center table in carved walnut, finely embellished with walnut feather veneer and fruitwood inlays. The skirt is softly curved, resting on a sculpted central column that terminates in three feral-form legs raised on a molded plinth base — a poised and balanced silhouette typical of refined Lombard cabinetry of the early 19th century.
The inlay work is particularly exquisite. On the band, top, and feet, alternating geometric and vegetal motifs form rhythmic, beautifully controlled compositions. The top is especially arresting: a radiating medallion-like design that recalls a rosette woven from botanical tendrils — fluid, harmonious, and deeply elegant without ever becoming ornate.
This is the kind of table that immediately raises the temperature of a room — not loud, but quietly authoritative. Perfect as a center table, library table, or entrance hall statement piece. Restored and finished with care, preserving depth and warmth of patina.
