An elegant Italian side table in the Louis XVI style, dating from the 19th century and crafted in beautifully figured walnut. This refined piece exemplifies neoclassical restraint with its clean lines, symmetrical design, and classical ornamentation, all executed with Italian warmth and precision.
The square top sits above a single drawer, framed by a delicate band of carved beading that continues around the apron. The drawer is centered with an original brass rosette pull. Below, four fluted legs lend vertical rhythm and architectural character, tapering gracefully and resting on small brass casters for ease of movement.
A lower shelf, gently curved and outlined with reeded detail, offers additional surface area and enhances the table’s visual balance. The table’s proportions are compact yet stately, making it perfect as a bedside table, occasional piece, or refined drinks stand in a sitting room.
