This late 18th-century tric trac table is constructed in varnished marquetry with a removable reversible top. One side features marquetry in geometric and oval motifs, while the reverse is covered in a recently added green felt playing surface. Marquetry fillets decorate all four sides, the apron, and the tapered sheath legs, which terminate in bronze sabots. The interior playing area is divided into two compartments that open with felt pulls and contains a marquetry game board designed for tric trac.
The table is offered with its gaming accessories: two leather cups, fifteen black tokens, fifteen white tokens, and a die. Structural condition is sound. Minor age-related imperfections, including a small interior crack, are present but consistent with an 18th-century piece. This example combines traditional French craftsmanship, practical gaming features, and refined decorative work, functioning both as a collectible games table and as an elegant occasional table when closed.
