An elegant Louis XV–style bench crafted in walnut, distinguished by its finely carved seat rail and graceful proportions. The sculpted apron features flowing rocaille motifs centered by a carved shell, reflecting the decorative vocabulary of the Louis XV tradition. The four cabriole legs terminate in volutes and are joined by a shaped stretcher, providing both structural stability and visual continuity.
The seat is newly upholstered in a high-quality Aquaclean fabric by the manufacturer Casal, offering durability while maintaining a refined, neutral appearance suitable for a variety of interiors. The upholstery work is in very good condition and is finished with a line of decorative gilt nails that subtly accent the carved wood frame. The walnut displays a warm, even patina that highlights the depth of the carving.
Versatile in use, this bench is well suited for placement at the foot of a bed, in an entryway, or as occasional seating in a living space. A refined and functional example of Louis XV–inspired craftsmanship.
