Small mid-20th century writing table in Louis XVI style walnut by André Mailfert.
It opens with a drawer on the front and rests on four sheathed legs ending in bronze sabots, connected by a shelf which bears the fire stamp of the salamander.
Its top, surrounded by brass, is covered with Havana-colored leather with iron-gilded ornaments.
Bronze entry.
Its lock works with its key. Very good quality table.
