This pair of French Louis XV style painted wood horizontal mirrors from the late 19th century showcases exquisite carved shell motifs. Featuring a light grey color accented by cream highlights, their simple linearity enhances their elegant design. The mirror plates are beautifully framed by a molding that delicately curves in the upper section, highlighted by a central shell motif typical of the Rocailles style from King Louis XV's reign. This pair embodies pure elegance with its refined yet understated décor.
