Pair of Swedish Gustavian-Style Painted Vitrines
A handsome pair of Swedish Gustavian-style vitrines featuring dark painted finishes with naturally distressed surfaces and warm, timeworn patina. Each cabinet has a molded cornice with carved dentil detailing above glazed double doors, revealing a pale painted interior with open shelving. The lower sections are fitted with two drawers and paneled cupboard doors decorated with restrained diamond motifs. Delicate brass hardware, fluted corner details, and tapered feet complete the neoclassical design. Their tall, architectural proportions provide generous display and concealed storage while maintaining an elegant visual presence. Ideal for displaying books, ceramics, glassware, or collected objects, this complementary pair brings authentic Scandinavian character and understated sophistication to a living room, dining room, library, or study.
