A set of six period Swedish Rococo chairs, circa 1760, repainted in blue and newly covered in linen. Period sets of six from the mid-18th century are rare survivals, and this group offers the graceful curved backs and shaped legs of the Swedish Rococo in matched, usable condition. The renewed blue paint gives the set a unified, luminous presence at the dining table, while fresh linen seats mean the chairs go straight into service. Eighteenth century seating with this combination of age, uniformity, and readiness is genuinely difficult to source, making the set a strong foundation for a dining room in Gustavian, French, or relaxed contemporary taste. All six frames are sound; wear is consistent with age.
