A Swedish Gustavian style painted wood side table from the late 19th century, with single drawer, reeded accents and tapered legs. This side table features a rectangular top sitting above a single dovetailed drawer accented with reeded motifs and a simple wooden pull. The apron is adorned with fluted corners on all sides. The table is painted in a soft color with nicely distressed patina, typical of the Swedish taste for light palettes aiming at brightening the rooms during the dark winters of Scandinavia. It is raised on four tapered legs with fluting.
