Swedish Oval Table from Stockholm, Circa 1920-1930
This Swedish oval table comes from Stockholm. The top is a white imitation marble, while the lower section is brick-red/brown with a deep patina. The top is decorated with a half-pearl ornament that runs around the entire top. A similar ornament is found on the lower section of the apron. The table is supported by a single, central leg – a column – from which three ornately decorated legs branch. The piece is made of pine and beech (the leg).
