A Swedish Rococo Revival painted wooden side table with carved apron and cabriole legs from the turn of the century. This Swedish side table features a rectangular top with rounded edges sitting above a scalloped apron on all sides, carved with exquisite Rocailles motifs. The table is raised on four cabriole legs, whose sinuous lines are typical of the Rococo era and which are carved on the knees. The table rests on pad feet. With its delicate Silhouette, and light colored paint finish, typical of the Scandinavian taste for soft color palettes, this Swedish 1890-1900 side table will bring a discreet elegance to any living room, bedroom, foyer or hallway, perhaps adorned with a giltwood mirror atop.
