This elegant long buffet from the second half of the 18th century features a rectangular three-plank top with canted corners and a delicate rais-de-coeur frieze along the three sides. Its expertly crafted pegged construction reflects the maker's attention to detail. The central hand-cut dovetailed drawer sits above a beautifully carved door, flanked by taller doors with simple raised panels that echo the central drawer, creating a subtle visual rhythm. The moldings transition from upward scrolls in the center to downward scrolls on the sides, enhancing the overall elegance.
