A pair of blue painted Scandinavian chests of drawers, circa 1920, distinguished by their carved decoration: dentil molding beneath the tops, fluted corners with carved rosettes, and paneled drawer fronts framing brass ring pulls. The soft blue painted surfaces, gently worn at the edges, give the pair the luminous, time-softened color that designers seek in Scandinavian case furniture.
