20th-Century Gilt-Iron Six-Light Basket Chandelier with Crystal Drops
An elegant 20th-century six-light chandelier featuring a basket-form structure crafted from gilt iron and richly adorned with faceted crystal drops. The frame centers on a circular crown from which six scrolling arms radiate in a graceful spiral, each terminating in a candle cup with a faux painted-wood candle sleeve. Above, a pierced crown of sculpted leaves creates a dramatic finishing detail. Graduated strands of crystal descend from the upper crown to the lower frame, producing a luminous waterfall effect, while additional swags and pendants form the basket below. The warm, softly aged gilding provides a beautiful contrast to the reflective crystals.
