    A over sized period Gustavian armchair, scraped to original paint and newly upholstered in linen. Made in Stockholm for and government agency such as a court or a ministry. These chairs were used by the Chair at the end of a conference table. Wood carved decor with unusual girlands at the top. Circa 1780
