Born in England during the second half of the 19th century, this exquisite centerpiece features a Rococo inspired silver candlestick with scrolling motifs, resting on a tripartite base with beaded accents. All in curves, the lower section leads the eye to the delicate crystal vase, etched with foliage details. Particularly praised from the mid-19th century period, epergnes were quintessential Victorian centerpiece items, used to either display fruits, desserts or flowers.
