French 1790s Louis XVI Period Cherry Three-Drawer Commode with Fluted Side Posts
A French Louis XVI period cherry commode from the late 18th century, with three drawers and fluted side posts. Created in France during the last decade of the 18th century, this cherry commode features a rectangular top with rounded corners in the front, sitting above three drawers fitted with linear brass hardware. Flanked with rounded fluted side posts, the commode is raised on four cylindrical tapering feet.
