French 1850s Louis XV Style Cherry Planter with Quatrefoil Motifs and Tôle Liner

A French Louis XV style cherry planter from the mid-19th century, with cabriole legs, pierced quatrefoil motifs and tôle inset. Created in France during the 1850s, this cherry planter charms us with its curving lines and pierced quatrefoils adorning the sides. Lined with a tôle inset added recently, the planter is raised on four cabriole legs connected to one another through an apron scalloped on all sides. With its graceful lines and cherry patina, this Louis XV style planter circa 1850 will bring an elegant presence to any living room or foyer.
