Created in France during the last quarter of the 19th century, this painted bedside chest features a rectangular top with serpentine front, sitting above three conforming drawers. Boasting a nicely weathered patina, the chest is raised on four cabriole legs connected to one another through an apron carved on three sides. With its graceful Rococo style lines and distressed painted finish, this chest circa 1880 will bring a touch of French elegance to any bedroom.
