French 19th Century Terracotta Pottery Pitchers with Floral Décor
Charming 19th-century French terracotta pottery pitchers, each featuring a warm ochre-yellow glazed finish and hand-painted folk decoration. One pitcher is embellished with a stylized floral motif in deep brown and green, while the other features abstract botanical decoration in green and rust tones.
Each vessel has a gently tapered cylindrical form with a wide rolled rim and pronounced pouring spout. Subtle variations in the glazing, hand-painted decoration, and surface wear reflect their handmade construction and age.
