French 20th Century Louis XVI Style Walnut Bedside Table
Made in France in the twentieth century, this Louis XVI style bedside or side table is constructed in walnut and opens at the front with three drawers fitted with brass knobs. The neoclassical lines of the Louis XVI style are expressed in the restrained form and tapering legs, while the three graduated drawers provide useful storage in a compact footprint. Walnut gives a warm, close-grained surface, and the brass knobs add definition to the drawer fronts. Suited to use beside a bed or a chair, the table offers both a surface and storage in a bedroom, sitting room, or hall.
