A French 12-light crystal chandelier from the late 19th century, with brass armature and pendeloques. Born in France during the last quarter of the 19th century, this exquisite 12-light chandelier features a central crystal baluster motif with twisted accents, around which are showcased a ring of pendeloques with rosettes. Our eye is then gently lead to the main section of the chandelier, made of a scrolled brass armature supporting crystals of various shapes, such as spears and pendeloques echoed from the top. These 12 arms are each adorned with a flower-shaped bobèche with a candle sleeve, while the lower section is accented with a crystal sphere, providing a perfect visual conclusion to the ensemble. With its great proportions and graceful Silhouette, this French crystal chandelier circa 1890 will brighten up any room beautifully, from a living room to a dining room.
