An early 19th century Gustavian nightstand, Swedish, circa 1830, with two doors and a single drawer, repainted in light grey. The compact case offers the enclosed storage that makes period nightstands so much more useful than open tables: a drawer for small things, cupboard space below. The light grey painted finish carries the luminous softness that defines the Gustavian palette, brightening a bedside while keeping the piece quietly in period.
