Painted Tyrolean sideboard with chamfered edges, made of painted softwood, datable to around 1820.
The piece features a compact structure with a front composed of two paneled doors, framed by simple and well-proportioned moldings. The entire surface is decorated with casein paint, featuring stylized floral motifs centered on painted flower vases enclosed within rectangular panels.
The color palette is dominated by a blue-green background with layered glazes, now visibly patinated by use and time. The chamfered edges are decorated with a sinuous vertical floral vine motif, while the slightly projecting top is finished with a sober linear band.
