Swedish 19th century oval occasional table made in solid birch circa 1880.
We are pleased to offer this occasional table which has unusually been made in solid birch. 4 plank solid burr birch top, formed into an oval shape. Apron formed of shaped birch segments, which run around the whole border. All raised on a turned stem and 4 scrolling legs complete with scribed detailing. Terminating on a carved paw foot with claws.
Minor surface fading, minor surface marks, minor losses to some of the claws on the feet.
