An elegant early 20th-century brass lantern featuring a cylindrical glass body framed by finely cast brass supports. The lantern is topped with graceful scroll arms that rise toward the canopy, their curves softened by decorative beaded collars that add texture and refinement. Clear curved glass panels enclose the interior, allowing full visibility of the four candle-form lights while enhancing the lantern’s warm, ambient glow. Both the upper and lower brass bands are adorned with pierced foliate motifs, lending the piece a delicate, lacy silhouette that contrasts beautifully with the sturdiness of the metal frame. The brass surface has developed a gentle, naturally aged patina, giving the lantern a timeless presence without sacrificing brightness or clarity.
