French Hexagonal Copper Lantern
A French hexagonal lantern in copper, its tapering top rising to a suspension ring above six glazed panels, finished below with a turned drop finial. The copper carries a soft, even patina that gives the lantern a warm, settled presence. A single lantern of this quality hangs beautifully in an entry, a stairwell, a kitchen, or a covered porch, where the glazing spreads the light in every direction. It is sound throughout, with wear consistent with age and use.
