Made in England in the twentieth century, this wooden pond yacht is rigged as a gaff cutter. Models of this kind were built for sailing on ornamental ponds and lakes and are now collected as decorative maritime objects. The hull is carved in wood with the proportions of a working sailing model, and the gaff cutter rig is defined by a single mast carrying a four-cornered mainsail.
