Italian Louis XV Walnut Credenza with Drawer and Two Doors
An Italian Louis XV credenza in walnut, with a shaped frieze drawer above two paneled doors, the case rising on short cabriole legs beneath a molded, crossbanded top. The gentle serpentine movement across the front carries the Venetian taste for line, while the figured walnut has mellowed to a warm glow that deepens at the moldings.
