An expertly crafted wildlife sculpture by the renowned French artist, Louis-Albert Carvin. The stag and doe cast in spelter with a verdigris finish to look like weathered bronze and mounted onto a stepped marble base of rectangular form, base inscribed 'L. CARVIN'. The fine Art Deco sculpture is naturalistically modelled and shows a fully grown stag with twelve point antlers looking over a doe eating.
