A pair of French grand scale painted candlesticks from the late 19th century, with distressed patina and foliage motifs. Created in France during the last decade of the 19th century, each of this pair of candlesticks features a central column adorned with guilloches, waterleaves and other foliage motifs carved in low relief, accented with traces of gilding. Boasting a nicely weathered appearance, these French 1890s candlesticks, resting on scrolling feet, will make for an exquisite decorative addition to any home, perhaps anchoring an enfilade or credenza.
